Thursday Review: Another Must-Read ~ The Winning Attitude by John Maxwell

At least once a month i make sure to feed my mind with new ideas through reading a book!

There is no need for me to write a review of this book for i’m sure that it’ll help me.

I just want to share and tell you that you should really get a copy of any john maxwell book and live a life with a winning attitude!

Friday: self-help ~ must-read: john maxwell’s the difference maker

Things i need: a bookmark, a highlighter and a book!

Not just a book but a self – help John Maxwell’s The Difference Maker book.

Why do i choose this? I was in the office last week having a chat with the bosses when they talked about John Maxwell’s books. One of the bosses said, “just with the way a person speaks, you can say that he is a John Maxwell fan.” They said John Maxwell is a popular writer of leadership books. I got interested and bought this book to begin with.

For starters like me, aiming to be a boss someday, this will be a perfect book to read. I’ve just been reading a few pages yet i can say i’ve already learned a lot. Grab a copy now!

Wednesday Random Thought: Amiino: My Eyelash Buddy

Fake eyelashes: no no for me!, not when you are just going to the office, eew! I only wear false eyelashes during formal gatherings and events.

Eyelash extensions: i tried this a few times before but since my eyes are watery, eyelash extensions didn’t work for me!

Argh! So what am i gonna do? I wanted to have naturally long eyelashes.

So, when i saw this advertisement of EZ SHOP on TV, i rushed to market market taguig to check it out! Two bottles for less than 2k!

It promises longer eyelashes in 72 hours. All you need to do is apply the serum from root to tip of the eyelash.

In two days, due to the excitement, i already took a picture of my eyelashes pampered with this serum. Any differences?

Thursday: Reviews ~ A Review of Tuna Carbonara At The Old Spaghetti House

We were craving for lasagna and tuna pasta that day. I was so sleepy that day so we decided to narrow our options and check the nearby restaurants.

We went to sbarro but the restaurant doesn’t have tuna pasta or pizza so we thought that the safest option for our cravings would be the restaurant called the old spaghetti house.

We used to dine at TOSH or the old spaghetti house before and i loved their gambasetti, red pasta with prawn oh so yummy.

But this time we dine at a different TOSH resto nearby.

I ordered tuna carbonara, but of course, and the pasta their using is the fettucine. I requested for angel hair then, there’s an additional charge of 25.00php.

So we waited for a few minutes and our orders were served. i’m sorry to say this but i was not impressed with the food. I hope the sauce will be creamier and thicker and next time we dine.

Nevertheless, we liked customer service. Unique greetings “Welcome to our home!” and “Thank you for dining Sir, Maam. God bless.”

Tuesday: New Stuff ~ Korean Earrings and a Colorful Necklace

These are some of the new stuff i want to show you today.

This is an adjustable, cute, colorful necklace. I love the uniqueness of the cubes turned into a necklace. This is not very pricey yet it looks good when i wear plain outfits. I got three of the very same necklace and sold the other two. Another thing i like about this is it’s not too formal but at the same time, not too loud so i can wear it everyday if i want to.

I sooo love this pair of earrings. Got this from a korean website. Despite the big size, it’s lightweight and easy to wear. I consider this girly and i usually wear it to accentuate dark-colored dresses or tops. 🙂
