My Journey To 48 Kgs and 24 – inch Waistline

Hey guys it has been ages since i last blogged. I’ve been busy but this is where i really find a blissful me time. With blogging and writing and sharing my crazy stuff.

Just a heads up, i now gain 57.5 kgs and my waistline is at 33 inches. Yuck! Too bad for a 34 year old, 5 feet tall lady. I miss my sexy bod. Back when i weigh 48 inches and my waistline was only 23 to 24 inches. My confidence really boosted back then. Excess fats really make me look and feel lazy ugly and old. And i do not want to spend the rest of my life being depressed with my weight.
I am definitely in control of this. And i should start burning those fats now. If i cannot burn it, at least i should watch what i eat, EVERY SINGLE DAY!! If i don’t start it NOW, i won’t be able to meet my goals. Definitely NO TO PROCRASTINATION.
So, one way to lose weight is to eat right. I tried to be semivegetarian a few months back then suddenly i forgot that i am, so i became bloated and it feels so bad. I felt like i lost my sex appeal to opposite sex. *sighs
So here’s what i started a few days ago and today is my 13th day. And i really hafta be consistent.
My #60dayhalfrice challenge.
Every meal i will only eat half cup of rice or no rice at all. Each meal will just have “ulam” and fruits maybe but definitely no pork, and half cup of rice or no rice at all.

Snacks should be healthy too. No junk foods.

Sometimes i eat pasta because i read in the internet that pasta isn’t as bad as rice. Not that i hate rice. As a filipina, rice is a must for my stomach but i really hafta discipline and train myself to avoid too much of it. Because going to the gym is not an option for me.
Here are the recipes i’ve tried:

Day 13 snack. Spicy takoyaki

Day 12 dinner. Fried bangus and egg.

Day 11 snack. Fresh pomelo fruit.

Day 10. Taiwanese Jipai plus yakult green tea.

Day 10. Carbonara. I haven’t eaten it all. Bought it from somewhere. Not yummy.

Day 9. Half rice with spicy chicken curry for breakfast.

Day 9. Homecooked philippine bulanglang made by my auntie mercy plus half rice for lunch is yummy yet healthy.

Day 8. Philippine chicken  batchoy plus half rice. Yummy soup filled my tummy to replace rice craving because the soup makes me feel full easily.

Day 7. Yummy philippine palabok for lunch. This palabok has tinapa, squid and tofu in it.

Day 6. I needed this to booze me up on a night shift at work. Mcdo coffee float.

Day 5. Healthy but pricey bangus pandesal at luna restaurant in BGC.

Day 4. Baguio beans sauteed in tomatoes, garlic and soy sauce plus hard boiled egg and half cup of rice. I just bought it.

Day 3. Yummy filipino snack. Biko.

Day 2. My favorite pancit palabok with seafoods.

Day 1. Tuna pasta and garlic toast.

And of course, i started to religiously drink my laxative tea once a day.

Hope this helps girls who have the same journey as mine. It is not a very strict diet. And i am so excited with the results.
Good news! On my 13th day, i already lost 2 inches off my waist making my waistline down to 31 inches as of today, july 19, 2016.
Hurray!

CHLOE

EATS Worth The WEIGHT

Eating the right food, battling against being overweight seems to be really challenging most especially if we, classy girls are already in our early 30’s.

I go green everyday plus exercise and i run 5 kilometers almost everyday!

Salad is now my bestfriend, cucumber is the new rice!

DIY Salad? Cool way to start my day!

My Half – Rice Diet Starts Today 05.11.14

Hi beautiful boys and girls!! Yah i know it’s been a while. Been busy last months. But i realized that i have a blog to find time on.

And because of that, let me share to you my 20-day plan of just eating potatoes, bananas, toast, and just half cup of rice for 20 days straight. Let’s check if there will be improvements in 20 days. I am not a doctor nor a health consultant who knows everything about diet. Okay, lol! This is just a personal experiment i’ve learned from friends and read from the internet. I’m mixing all the info and came up with this. So for today, here is my breakfast:

20140511-110051.jpg

Baby potatoes sauteed in oyster sauce and liver spread, and one banana. And a bottle of distilled water.

20140512-061805.jpg
This is for lunch, toast with cheese spread and tuna on the side

And i just had two bananas for dinner.

If ever my tummy craves for oriental cereal called rice, i will make sure to just eat one-half cup of it. I can do it!! Fight the excess fats! LOL!

The good thing i survived day one of NO RICE meal! Yey! Clap clap clap!

Now another challenge is being consistent. And being disciplined. We have to eat smarter!

Til my next update! Ciao for now!

TGIF!! FRIDAY POST: Have A Great Day!!

20130823-110253.jpg

Hi pretty boys and girls!

I hope you will have a great day.

How can we really make today a good day?
Here are some tips:

1. If you are going to work, get up earlier so you won’t be late. Being late causes you to be cramming, thus stressing you out before the start of your shift in the office.

2. Eat your breakfast.

3. Watch your health and take your vitamins everyday.

4. Listen to music at least 10-30 minutes a day.

5. Spend your day with positive people. If your friends have negative thoughts or are sharing problems with you, empathize and show you care but do not absorb the negative vibes.

6. Don’t spend your time blaming yourself if something went wrong today. Instead, use the rest of the day to turn the negative situation into a positive one.

7. Don’t let petty unpleasant things ruin your day. Concentrate on the good things to make your day happy.
You may keep a journal and list down all the things you are thankful of.

8. Keep that smile on your face.

9. Declutter. Make sure the space you are in is clean, whether it’s your post in your office, your apartment, your room.

10. Make sure that you will have complete hours of sleep each day so you will be ready for the next day.

XOXO,

Chloe

Not For Sale! Only Hugs And Kisses

Not Wednesday yet, but i’m already blogging random thoughts! Hehehe!

I’m not selling in a few months now, so i’ve got nothing to post.

Lemme just share with you one of my sources of happiness instead.

Being happy is seeing and playing with my nephews and niece!

This week i didn’t come home during my rest days at work, so i browsed on their pictures on my iphone. Seeing them smile and reminiscing our happy moments made me smile. Good thing i’ve captured those magic moments.

Can’t wait to come home and play with them. Sharing these happy pictures with you. I hope this thought inspires you to create your own album, too! I’m so grateful to be their aunt!
